ORGANIZERS: UNIMET- VITALIS is organizing several events in and around Caracas.

Location:Botanic Garden Auditorium, Caracas - Theme: Youth groups from Universities make a vow as Citizens of the World and launch Beja Contest 2008.

With the support of Bayer Garden Foundation,youth groups from 10 different universities of Venezuela, publics and privates, were committed as Citizens of the World, a program that has been coordinated by VITALIS since 2002 and now it has 400 members committed to the conservation and defense of our planet, with the support of multiple organizations. In this meeting the students formulated their recommendations to conserve the planet, in particular to save energy, to reduce the production of waste, to save water, to conserve the biodiversity and to reduce the contamination, among others.

At the same time, BEJA 2008 was launched, an international ideas competition about about Climate Change promoted by the German Corporation BAYER, in which young university students could travel to Germany to meet with youngsters from all over the world.
