| Country Gateways are locally-owned and managed public-private partnerships established to facilitate and catalyze the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for development. They represent the country-level initiatives of the Development Gateway program and consist of country portals and other activities that demonstrate the contributions of ICT to reducing poverty and promoting sustainable development. E-learning projects are among the most popular—and innovative—services offered on Country Gateway portals for community-based learning. Read about e-learning initiatives now under way on Country Gateway portals in Uruguay, Rwanda, and Vietnam. |
