| The Development Gateway Foundation is grateful to the people whose interviews have contributed to this Special Report "Information Society: The Next Steps." The range of stakeholders in advancing the use of ICT for development indicates the tremendous contribution that information and communication technology can make in improving the life chances of people in the developing world. Discussions under way during Phase 2 of the World Summit for the Information Society, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union in Tunis, Tunisia, from November 14-16, 2005, will address many of the issues presented in this Special Report. |
