The Development Gateway Foundation would like to thank the people whose interviews have contributed to this Special Report on “Aid Harmonization: What Will It Take to Meet the MDGs?” They represent a range of stakeholders in global aid effectiveness whose insights provide first-hand knowledge about the complexity of donor harmonization. Combined with more than 30 comments from Development Gateway members in “From Our Members,” many of them development practitioners, this Special Report illustrates why development aid is on the world’s center stage in the build-up to the UN’s MDG+5 Summit in September—and why a paradigm shift is under way now in donor-country relations.
