Open Training Platform
UNESCO Open Training Platform
The Open Training Platform (OTP) is a UNESCO initiative to facilitate access to training materials and resources developed by development stakeholders at a global level with an objective of having training and capacity-building resources openly available to local communities, development stakeholders at grassroots level in order to foster local development. The platform offers a structured collaborative space to share resources which are freely and openly accessible for trainers and self-learners to use and re-use for non commercial purposes such as teaching, learning and research. OTP contains resources for all fields of development, including education (including teacher training), natural sciences, civil societies, culture, legal issues, computer training, media and communication, information management, community empowerment, entrepreneurship, literacy, languages, health and sanitation, agriculture, gender issues, sustainable development, microfinance, HIV/AIDS etc.

A digital library of objects developed primarily by faculty from the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) and produced by multimedia technicians who create the learning objects for the online environment. Objects are freely accessible to all WTCS faculty for use in classroom or online applications. Other colleges, universities and consortia around the world may apply to use the library.
