The World Bank's Independent Evaluation group has started a new web site that focuses on TRAINING FOR CAPACITY BUILDING.
On the basis of their recent evaluation of the contribution of training to capacity building, they have recently put together a website in English, French and Spanish with a large variety of resources on the planning, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of training for capacity building.
The site is designed to provide support to institutions throughout the developing world that use training in order to build local capacity. The site features the short report, as well as an audio file from Aliza Belman Inbal, Sr. Evaluation Officer, IEG-World Bank and Team Leader for IEG’s evaluation of Project-Based and WBI training. There is also a questionnaire, and links to other monitoring/evaluation resources, a place where you can share your stories, and a list of useful links!
