The forum on "Advanced Strategies for Development: Building Knowledge Economies for Senior Asian Policymakers" took place on February 22, 2008 and brought together 31 participants from 11 countries from East and South Asia. This one-day special forum was designed to cover the overview of knowledge economy in the form of core concepts, global trends, and policy issues as well as Korea’s experiences with knowledge economy strategies.
