The Science & Technology Division (SCL/SCT) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has launched an initiative to promote technological innovation and technology transfer for the development of m-Health and m-Government services.

The IDB is looking for a Research Fellow with experience in the field of mobile services, who will work in the research, publishing, and dissemination of global trends, available innovations, best practices, business models, potential opportunities, and challenges in the development of mobile health and government services. The Research Fellow will also assist in the preparation of two regional workshops.

The Research Fellow will develop the tasks and activities at the IDB offices in Washington DC, and the results of the activities should be delivered during a period of 6 months. Fees will be based on the qualifications and experience of the professional. Start date : June 1st 2008.
