Equal Access designs and implements compelling communications and outreach projects that address the most critical problems affecting people in the developing world including education, women's empowerment, human rights, improved health practices and HIV/AIDS prevention. We employ a variety of methods-local audio and multimedia content production, satellite broadcasting, AM/FM broadcasts, and community outreach-to empower the communities we serve. Our target beneficiaries are the vast majority of marginalized, poor and remote communities that lack the basic information and education resources that can assist them in improving their lives. We partner with governments, international and community-based organizations to increase the impact and broaden the reach of their development efforts.
Culturally appropriate and locally owned solutions are critical requirements for the success of any development effort. We have developed a dynamic project methodology that emphasizes listening first, community collaboration and interactive feedback. Our focus is on designing replicable and scalable models that are cost-effective and sustainable. All of our audio and multimedia content is locally produced. To provide the best content dissemination strategies, we work with a range of technologies and community outreach techniques.
