The Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) of Accion International is comprised of women who are committed to using their wit, wisdom and wealth to raise awareness of microfinance as a tool to address global solutions to poverty. Understanding that poverty takes a particularly hard toll on women and girls, WLN promotes philanthropic support of microfinance and advances activities designed to expand microfinance worldwide. Membership Criteria: * Support for solutions that address global poverty and the struggles of poor women’s entrepreneurs; * Willingness to contribute or raise financial support for ACCION’s work; * Commitment to call on one’s professional and technical experience to advise the president and staff; * Enthusiasm for developing and expanding WLN; * Passion to promote a more equitable world, particularly for women.
