Women and ICTs for Open and Distance Learning: Some Experiences and Strategies from the Commonwealth

A report for the Commonwealth of Learning, written by Lyndsay Green and Lawry Trevor-Deutsch, published in September 2002, looking at the following key issues: 1) Barriers to the education of women; 2) Additional Barriers with ICTs; 3) Strategies. Beyond these key issues, the report consists mostly of short case studies of 12 different projects or initiatives addressing the learning needs of women using ICTs.
