BEST PRACTICIES: Profiles of Electronic Government Procurement Systems

Paper prepared by the Government Best Practices Unit in the Department of Development Programs of the Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development (IACD), with the cooperation of member states of the Organization of American States (OAS). The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the analysis of electronic government procurement mechanisms now in use in several countries of the world, and to identify best practices in this important area for development.
