The Freedom of Information (FOI) Advocates Network aims to help NGOs with campaigning, advocacy, and fundraising, through exchange of information, ideas, strategies. It also provides a forum for collaboration. The FOIA Network also aims to facilitate the forming of coalitions of NGOs to address FOI issues at a regional or global level.
