Africa: The Impact of Mobile Phones

The report confirms most of the things we have been talking about for years - that mobiles stimulate economic growth, that poor people recognize the value of communication and are willing to pay for such services, that the value of communication is especially strong in rural areas and that the models used to explain the use of mobiles are different between rich and poor countries.
