ما هو منتدى الإصلاح العربي؟
تأسس منتدى الإصلاح العربي في مكتبة الإسكندرية، ليكون فضاء مفتوحا للمبادرات والحوارات الفكرية والمشاريع العربية، سواء فيما يتعلق بالإصلاح العربي، أو إقامة جسر لكل أشكال الحوار والتعاون مع مؤسسات المجتمع المدني العالمي. ويتم ذلك من خلال عقد ندوات وحوارات مشتركة، عربية وعالمية، حول موضوعات التنمية بشكل عام، وإبراز دور الشباب والمرأة في التنمية بوجه خاص. يضاف إلى ذلك تنفيذ مشروعات التعاون في مجالات التنمية المختلفة. ويتصل بعمل هذا المنتدى تأسيس مرصد اجتماعي عربي، لمتابعة نشاط المجتمع المدني العربي، ورصد وتقييم مشاريع الإصلاح السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، وذلك بالاعتماد على مجموعة متكاملة من المؤشرات الكمية والكيفية.
What is Arab Reform Forum?
The Arab Reform Forum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina was established to be an open space for intellectual initiatives and discussions, as well as Arab projects that relate to Arab Reform or to creating bridges for all forms of dialogue and cooperation between global civil society organizations. This is achieved through seminars and joint Arab and international discussions dealing with development topics in general, and highlighting the role of the youth and women in development in particular. In addition to this is the implementation of collaborative projects in various developmental domains. In conjunction with this Forum comes the establishment of the Arab Societal Observatory to monitor the activities of the Arab civil society, as well as evaluating political, economic, social and cultural reform projects, depending on a comprehensive set of quantitative and qualitative indicators.

The dgCommunity on Arab Reform will enable: - The creation of an Arabic online community of development practitioners for knowledge sharing and discussion; - Professional networking opportunities throughout the Arabic speaking world; - Capacity building and improved access to high quality educational materials in Arabic at low--or zero--cost throughout the developing world. The Arab Reform dgCommunity of the Development Gateway is an open space where people can visit to share the experiences and knowledge on some of the key issues related to the topic. How can I join and post content?
Just click the words "Become a Member" under Member Directory. Once you have joined the community just click the "Add content here" link at the center of the front page under Latest Additions and follow the instructions to post content. In addition to posting links to existing web pages, you can upload files in Word, PDF (Acrobat), Excel, PowerPoint and other formats. Please make sure you are not infringing any copyright restrictions. In other words, if you are not the author or publisher, please obtain their permission before posting their content on the portal. You can also upload news and events, and comment on existing content or join our e-forums. Content that is unavailable or cannot easily be found on the web is particularly welcome - in Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian.
