مؤتمر الحوار العربي الياباني "فجر جديد العرب ينظرون شرقاً"

شهدت مكتبة الإسكندرية يوم الثلاثاء 20 نوفمبر  افتتاح أعمال مؤتمر الحوار العربي الياباني، والذي يقام بعنوان "فجر جديد .. العرب ينظرون شرقا"، والذي يحضره عدد من كبار المسئولين ورجال الأعمال والعلماء والمثقفين من الجانبين، بهدف تعزيز العلاقات العربية - اليابانية على كافة المستويات؛ السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية، وإيجاد فرص مستقبلية لتحقيق المزيد من التعاون.
وقال الدكتور إسماعيل سراج الدين مدير مكتبة الإسكندرية في الكلمة الافتتاحية للمؤتمر "إن المؤتمر المنعقد اليوم هو نتاج منتدى الحوار العربي الياباني، الذي بدأ في طوكيو في سبتمبر 2003، وعقد اجتماعه السنوي الخامس أمس بمكتبة الإسكندرية"، مشيرا إلى أن تطوير العلاقات العربية اليابانية هام جدا.
وأضاف الدكتور سراج الدين أن اليابان أوضحت للعالم ما حققته من تقدم مذهل، حيث مارست التحديث دون تغريب، ومن خلال الحفاظ على إرثها الثقافي والحضاري، وهو ما نريد تحقيقه في عالمنا العربي. كما أكد أن العرب واليابانيين لديهم العديد من الأشياء المشتركة، إذ لديهم تاريخ إيجابي وتعاون بناء على مر العصور، وهو ما يهدف المؤتمر لتعزيزه على المدى القريب والبعيد، مختتما كلمته بالتأكيد على أهمية تعزيز العلاقات بين الجانبين في كافة المجالات؛ السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية، وأن ينظر العرب شرقا تجاه آسيا عموما، واليابان بصفة خاصة.
وفي سياق متصل، قدم الدكتور إسماعيل سراج الدين السيد تارو ناكاياما، وزير خارجية اليابان الأسبق، ورئيس الوفد الياباني في المؤتمر، حيث عبر الأخير عن خالص شكره لمكتبة الإسكندرية التي شاركت في تنظيم المؤتمر واستضافته، وللوفود العربية المشاركة، مشيرا إلى الميزة الثقافية والعلمية البارزة التي شكلتها مدينة الإسكندرية قديما وحديثا.
وفي ختام كلمته، عبر السيد تارو ناكاياما عن توقه للاستماع لكافة الآراء والمقترحات التي سيخرج بها المشاركون في جلسات المؤتمر المختلفة، بحيث تتم الاستفادة منها جميعا كي نجني ثمار هذا الاجتماع الهام.
وفي ذات السياق، رحب السفير هشام بدر مساعد وزير الخارجية أحمد أبو الغيط والممثل الشخصي له في هذا المؤتمر، بالوفود العربية واليابانية المشاركة في هذا اللقاء الأول والفريد.
ولقد استعرضت الوفود المجتمعة في الدورة الخامسة للحوار العربي الياباني، ثلاثة موضوعات هي: الوضع السياسي، وآفاق التعاون الاقتصادي، وتعزيز الحوار الثقافي العربي الياباني. وفي هذا الإطار، ناقشت الأطراف الثلاثة الفرص المتاحة بشأن تلك الموضوعات، وتم تبادل الرأي والأفكار والتحليلات والآمال والهموم واتسمت المناقشات بقدر كبير من الصراحة والتوسع في نطاق تغطيتها.
