13th INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION CONFERENCE:
Dates: Oct 30, 2008 - Nov 02, 2008
The 13th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is being hosted by the Greek Government and Transparency International's national chapter in Greece. It will take place in Athens from 30 October to 2 November 2008.
Join the leading experts and practitioners in the fields of governance, corruption and transparency. The 13th IACC will look at the role of corruption and governance in the social, political, environmental, and economic questions that define the quality of life for people across the globe, today and tomorrow.
Since its inception in 1983, the IACC has become the premier global forum for anti-corruption advocacy and action. By bringing together a cross-section of interests from government, civil society
and business, the IACC provides an effective context for examining existing strategies and developing new approaches.
The conference rotates through the regions of the world. Latin America played host to the 12th IACC, so this time a European venue was chosen to hold the event.
The 13th IACC is being organised by Transparency International in cooperation with its national chapter in the country, TI Greece, and the generous support of the Greek government.
